At La Combe, you can either rent a fully equipped tent or mobile home, or a chalet on one of our hillsides. Whichever you choose, each emplacement is very spacious, shady, and offers the privacy and coziness you need to feel at home. Large sanitary blocks with washing and toilet facilities are close by.
La Combe is the dream destination for nature-lovers who appreciate camping in peace and quiet, simply but comfortably.
At La Combe, you will be able to relax completely, get some long-haul reading done, go for walks in all the surrounding woodland, take a canoe or kayak trip, or visit numerous local prehistoric and historic sites, with our guide Bart if you so wish.
La Combe is ideal for children. For hours on end, they can play, run around, jump and swim amongst the water lilies and goldfish in our lake. They can also have prehistoric adventures in shelters and caves at only a few minutes walk away. And imagine their joy to spot a deer or a wild boar early one morning.
Once a week Lies dons her pinny and takes on some open-air cooking! Then at the long communal table guests can enjoy sharing the meal and spending some quality time together.
The kitchen is the heart of the campsite: somewhere central to meet people, have a coffee, a chat. If you're looking for something to do or somewhere to go, you'll always find help in our selection of brochures and leaflets on local activities.
Often in the evening, someone feels called to light a fire that draws other campers to come and meet up, tell stories, and have a sing-song.
Every morning, the baker passes by to deliver your orders of croissants or freshly baked French sticks, which you can come and collect in the kitchen. Niels and Eva, (Lies' children) like delivering the bread themselves - if they weren't up too late at the campfire the night before! |
